This function can be used to split the contents of a table into several smaller tables. To do this, either the maximum number of records that may be contained in the target tables must be specified. Or the number of tables to be created is specified, to which the records are then evenly distributed. Or a data field from the source table is specified, whose content then determines the target table intowhich a specific record is written.
